Charlee
Description
Charlee is a sweet, easy, well-mannered dog who could fit into many different types of homes. She’s got enough youthful energy to enjoy a good walk, running around the yard with her doggie friends or playing tug in the house, but is also happy to settle in for snuggles on the couch. She'll even entertain herself by throwing her toys around or just watching the birds from a comfy spot by the window.
Although she gets a little nervous in new places, Charlee doesn’t let that get in the way of getting pets from everyone she meets. She absolutely LOVES people, and has never met a stranger. Even when she’s feeling a bit timid, Charlee settles in fairly quickly with lots of pets and encouragement. She also really enjoys other dogs and would likely love another pup in the house. She plays well and is very respectful, even with the two small dogs in her foster home.
Charlee walks well on a leash and isn’t reactive to other dogs or people (though she will try to get to any pesky squirrels that cross her path). She hardly ever barks, knows basic commands and sleeps all night in her crate. She can also be left loose in the house during the day without getting into any trouble. Although she loves children, Charlee would do best with kids over 5. She doesn’t jump up on people, but she may knock over smaller kids with her wiggles.
Charlee is just a fantastic dog who would love to be your new best friend!
