Austin Dog Rescue is made up purely of volunteers. Each dog is sheltered within a home in the Austin area. As such, there is no physical shelter to visit the dog at. If you think you may be interested in a particular dog now or in the future, please fill out an application form. People with approved application forms are prioritized over people who haven’t yet applied.

Triscuit the Tripod (UPDATED!)

My name is Triscuit, and I'm pleased to meet you! I am a happy-go-lucky young puppy, and I learn something new about the world every day. My foster mom says that I'm a quick study, and that I'm doing exceptionally well with crate training and house training. I sleep in my crate all night long and don't make a peep!

I was found by a good Samaritan after I had been hit by a car and badly injured. My right front leg was amputated in May, but I don't let that hold me back. I can run, jump, and climb stairs.

I would do best in a home that has experience with dogs, and I would most love a home with another resident dog to show me the ropes.

I am eager to please, I'm (obviously) so cute, and I have a lot of love to give. I hope to meet you soon!
