Austin Dog Rescue is made up purely of volunteers. Each dog is sheltered within a home in the Austin area. As such, there is no physical shelter to visit the dog at. If you think you may be interested in a particular dog now or in the future, please fill out an application form. People with approved application forms are prioritized over people who haven’t yet applied.
Hazel and her siblings were born on March 17. Their mom was a Black Mouth Cur, and we are guessing dad was a hound mix based on their long ears and prominent “knowledge knots”.
Hazel’s foster describes her as a cute, sweet little girl who is a bit more on the dainty side. She’s not overly affectionate, but she does keep track of where her people are at all times.
She is doing very well in her foster home, with lots of furry foster brothers and sisters. She is doing well with her crate training, sleeping through the night and working on her potty training.
If you think Hazel could be the pup you are looking for, fill out an application!
