Austin Dog Rescue is made up purely of volunteers. Each dog is sheltered within a home in the Austin area. As such, there is no physical shelter to visit the dog at. If you think you may be interested in a particular dog now or in the future, please fill out an application form. People with approved application forms are prioritized over people who haven’t yet applied.

Ivy (UPDATED!)

AVAILABLE
Minimum Donation: $220 220 $

Description

Ivy is a big sweetheart with a fun, silly, and goofy personality that will crack you up! She is a joyful girl who loves to leash walk around the neighborhood, gaze out the window at nature (squirrel!), play with toys, take a car ride, and hang out with people. Ivy is a great home office companion.

Ivy has been through a professional training program. Her trainer gives her excellent grades, summing it up with “Ivy is a great dog.” We agree - she really is!

Ivy would love a fenced yard so she can show you her fetch skills. She would be happy in a home as an only dog, soaking up all the human attention or in a home with a male dog. With her natural herding instincts, she would do best in a home without a cat. Ivy is very outgoing and friendly and she loves humans of all ages.

Ivy is crate trained, house trained, professionally obedience trained, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
