Meet Banjo! Banjo came to Austin Dog Rescue by way of the Killeen Shelter. He was found wandering in Killeen with a broken leg. Since being with Austin Dog Rescue, he has received the medical care needed to heal and resume his life on 4 legs.

Despite his hard times, Banjo is the happiest, sweetest pup you'll ever meet! He is energetic and loving. He loves every dog and human he meets. No one is a stranger to Banjo. He loves human and animal cuddles and really loves belly rubs! He has been on crate rest for the majority of his stay in foster care, but once Banjo is back to 100%, it is suspected that he will have a lot of energy and need daily exercise.

Since being in his foster home, Banjo has worked on some separation anxiety issues which have greatly improved over time, but some TLC and patience will be required to continue this progress.

Banjo will be ready to go to his forever home somewhere around November 22nd, dependent on a final leg x-ray on the 21st showing that things have healed A-OK.
